These days we have been receiving tons of e-mails about how to play Agar.io unblocked at places applying a restriction policy to internet like some schools, offices and public area networks. They say an empty page or a network connection error message is appeared when they try to play Agar.io.
You know Agar.io is unbelievably popular and being played by hundreds of thousands of people concurrently and millions of people daily. Some system administrators at places like schools and offices restrict some web sites for some reasons. Gaming is one of these reasons and Agar.io is a very addictive game. So teachers and firm administrators don’t want their students or employees play games at school or office times. So they restrict internet for some web sites.
Come on! We are born to play Agar.io and we want to play it at anywhere, anytime at any condition. So listen out guys, I am sharing some tips how to overcome this problem. Network policies may differ from organization to organization. You should start from the first tip (from the easiest ones) and try next until it works.
1. Switch to HTTPS
If your organization blocked Agar.io as http://agar.io then type your browser https://agar.io and you can play it. It will be way slower but it is worth trying. That is so easy, isn’t it!
2. Edit Hosts file (Recommended, best solution)
There is a magical setting file named as “hosts” in your computer in this location:
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
Open this file in a text editor in administrative mode and add the following 3 lines under the bottom most line.
190.93.251.64 agar.io
190.93.251.64 gc.agar.io
190.93.251.64 m.agar.io
This is the most effective solution, it will work in 99% of conditions. Enjoy the game and thank me later 
3. Use a Translate Tool
Go to http://translate.google.com. Type agar.io in the first text area on the left and click the link on the other text area on the right. The game will start unblocked because you will play it over Google Translate layer. See the screenshot below:

No. it is an MMO, which means all the cells you are going against are other real players, thus it needs to be connected to the internet in order to play

You… don’t. You can only play as a guest or by using facebook.

For solution #2, could you tell me the equivalent of that method but on a mac? Because at school they all have macs and the method 1(https) and method 2(google translate) both don’t work (still says its blocked by firewall) :C thank you

Hey I got you. If your at a home computer go on internet explorer, on the icon bar right below the Internet search thing it says,”Tools” and under tools click “internet options” and when a small window comes up click “connections” and make sure the box that says “add Vpn connection isn’t checked off and everything in the “connections” isn’t checked off. Then proceed to save to make the window disappear. Then refresh your browser. This works all the time
as my company restricted change on C: drive, second option is close for me, and the first and last solution had failed as well. is it possible to make to game to play through facebook just like candy crush and games like that? Btw… the game is super fun and you guys are great.
Tor Browser Bundle, launches a portable firefox browser that accesses sites via layers using other servers so that you can access any blocked site in it’s entirety. An alternative to that would be to download a Socks 4/5 Proxy Tool, Google ‘Socks Proxy List’ and then apply any working IP to the program, select your default browser and then launch it through the tool. This works in the same way, but allows you to select a server if you’re running into issues with Tor.
Download the Tor Browser Bundle and use it, but be wary I almost got my computer rights revoked for the entirety of my high school years. It connects to a server, which then connects to the site you wish to see, and then sends all the data between that server and you. This was a few years back, but you can use Tor to access any site you wish, like Facebook. Socks4 and 5 proxies will work fine too, as long as you’re using a program to handle your connection and not some shitty proxy site.

I shared some tips that may help people to play Agar.io unblocked. None of them may be useful to someone, I can not do anything about it. If anyone knows any new tips please share it here and I will add it to post.
